ABOUT IZMIR

Izmir is the city just 2 hrs by drive away from Didim, you drive via the autobahn (Motorway). If you like to go from high way you can see the ancient city of Ephesus where is the best-preserved classical city on the Mediterranean and perhaps the best place in the world to get the feeling for what life was like in Roman times. Very close to the city Ephesus you can visit the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John.

Izmir is the 3^rd biggest city in Turkey. During your journey in Izmir you can find lots of shops and markets.
